Shirin Gomari
Shirin got her degree in Ceramic Engineering in 2005 at ancient city of Meybod, Iran. After eight years working in couple of tile factories in Iran; she decided to migrate to Australia in 2015 (with her husband, Kaveh) to challenge herself and start a new life from scratches as a skilled migrant. She was persistent enough to find job in the industry that her heart is; this time not only in tiles, but also in bricks.
Over the years she has developed a keen understanding of what it takes to create tiles that are aesthetically pleasing and technically functional. Finally in 2022 she decided to follow her dream of manufacturing handmade tile in Australia. Her passion for tile; design and creativity is reflected in every tile we make from the color of the glaze to the texture of the tile. Shirin is also in love with spiritual growth and strives to bring meaning and harmony into the space with the tiles. Shirin's daughter; Amethyst; is her greatest source of inspiration. Amethyst also loves pattern; art and tile too.
